 Purpose of the job:
 The Role of the Assistant Manager within the Chemicals Team is to manage the overall operational supply chain and logistics for the department to ensure that efficiency and productivity is maximised. Complete Gross Profit analysis, which requires numerical understanding of sales vs cost of sales and report to management, and have a clearly understanding of the GP trends and possible Kaizen of how to improve Gross Profit                       
Operational management of Networking Capital. With close monitoring of overdue inventory and resolution of damaged and expired inventory.    
 Customer relationship management (communication, need satisfaction, effective partnership)
Understanding customer business environment
Expanding current business with customers   
Supporting Coordinator with customer visit, negotiation and speedy resolutions of critical customer queries.  
 Support and co-ordinate key business milestones, as such new project enquiries, trial activities and ensuring positive completion of all Project related tasks  
Handle process from Request for Quotation, Preparation of quote and order management     
Supervise and assist in SAP processing     
Rundown sheet management - Tracking with supplier and customer on hand information 
First in First Out stock management and control  
 Ensure monthly task are complete by month end (mainly invoicing, inbound and miro) 
Ensure queries are resolved timeously - Quality, Damaged Stock, Overdue Debtors, Airfreight cost capturing
Kaizen   
Communication with Export country regularly       
Quarter Pricing submission to customers

Essential duties and responsibilities
Complete the Forklift checklist daily and report any defects on the machine
Conduct daily battery maintenance
Maintain and control stock daily
Ensure accuracy of stock received, put away and always delivered
Ensure safe handling pallets &amp; modules. Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure quality and safety
Willing to work overtime and support customer demand and ensure continuous customer satisfaction
Conduct daily bin audit with strict adherence to FIFO (First in First Out)
Assist with stock take preparation and participate with regular stock counts
Conduct housekeeping daily
Participate in kaizen’s and submit near misses to ensure continuous improvement of all processes
Report any defects or irregularities to ensure that safety and quality is always upheld

Manager une équipe de deux collaborateurs et assurer la coordination des opérations de transit.
Gérer la relation avec le transitaire : suivi des actions, formalisation et renouvellement du contrat, organisation de points trimestriels.
Superviser la transmission des factures au pool fournisseur pour mise en paiement (2 fois par mois) et collaborer avec la comptabilité fournisseur pour minimiser les factures échues ou litigieuses.
Assurer le suivi des indicateurs de performance (délais arrivage – entrée en stock, SEF, etc.) et optimiser les délais en lien avec les distributeurs et la logistique.
Être l’interface avec les entités CFAO (AMS &amp; CAPSTONE) pour toutes problématiques liées aux importations (informatique, documentaire, délais).
Gérer la relation avec les administrations (ARCEP, CGC, Douane, DGCCRF) : obtention des ASI, traitement des documents non conformes, négociation des pénalités, demandes de main levée, réponses aux contrôles douaniers.
Veiller au respect de la réglementation et à l’apurement des domiciliations bancaires dans les délais.
Superviser les opérations de transit des importations (sorties d’entrepôt fictif, vérification des dossiers imports aérien) et assurer le back-up en cas d’absence d’un collaborateur.
Gérer les cas exceptionnels liés à des exportations.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Formation : Bac+3/5 en Logistique, Commerce International ou équivalent.
Expérience : Minimum 5 ans dans le transit/import-export, idéalement en environnement multi-sites.
Compétences clés :
Maîtrise des procédures douanières et réglementaires.
Excellentes capacités de coordination et de communication.
Rigueur, sens de l’organisation et capacité à gérer les priorités.
