The Sales Consultant – B2C is responsible for driving retail vehicle sales by engaging individual customers, understanding their mobility needs, and delivering an exceptional showroom and purchase experience. Key Accountabilities:
1.       Retail Sales &amp; Lead Conversion
Identify, engage, and convert B2C prospects into successful vehicle purchases through structured sales processes, effective product presentation, and consistent follow‑up.
2.       Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, trust‑based relationships with individual clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, referrals, and long‑term loyalty.
3.       Showroom Engagement &amp; Customer Experience
Deliver a premium showroom experience by proactively supporting walk‑in clients, conducting needs assessments, and providing accurate, compelling demonstrations of Toyota vehicles and solutions.
4.       Financing &amp; Ownership Solutions
Advise customers on available financing, insurance, and leasing options—working closely with the Finance &amp; Insurance Sales Consultant to support informed and seamless purchase decisions.
5.       Vehicle Delivery Excellence.
Coordinate and execute a professional and memorable vehicle handover process that reflects Toyota standards and enhances customer confidence and delight.
6.       Market &amp; Competitor Awareness
Monitor consumer trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform sales approaches, refine offerings, and support continuous improvement of B2C sales strategies.
7.       Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work effectively with finance, aftersales, logistics, and marketing teams to ensure timely vehicle delivery, smooth internal processes, and consistent execution of campaigns targeting B2C customers.

Job Knowledge, Skills &amp; Experiences:
·       Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
·       Minimum 5 years’ sales experience, including at least 3 years engaging B2C clients
·       Proven achievement of sales targets in a consultative, high‑value sales environment
·       Strong customer-service orientation, negotiation, and presentation skills
·       Valid driving license

Job Purpose

Main Responsibilities

h)       Advise clients on finance packages available through partner financial institutions (banks), and assist the clients in filling the required documentation to ensure the sales deals are closed;
i)         Liaise with Finance to ensure payment terms are clearly agreed and communicated to the customer, and proper finance documentation, to minimise customer complaints and enhance the closing of sales deals;
j)         Follow up on vehicle registration documents including logbooks to ensure the documentation is availed to the customer in a timely manner for enhanced customer satisfaction and retention;
k)       Actively participate in promotional and customer training activities to market the company’s products and services to increase product awareness for enhanced sales;
l)         Provide information to management and the marketing team on market intelligence to assist garner information required to develop aggressive marketing and sales strategies for the BYD brands;
m)     Submit accurate weekly deliveries and order intake data to the Sales Manager to keep track of the monthly sales targets as per budget;

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Sales and Lead Manager will be responsible for running the Virtual Call Centre for CFAO Mobility, ensuring the effective management, qualification, and conversion of sales leads across our national dealership network. This role requires an experienced automotive sales professional with strong knowledge of vehicle sales processes, F&amp;I interaction, and digital lead management systems (CMS Systems).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Essential:
Proven automotive sales experience (minimum 5 years), with exposure to F&amp;I processes.
Demonstrated success in lead management and digital sales funnels.
Strong background in call centre operations or virtual sales environments.
Experience with CRM/CMS systems (e.g., CMS, AUTO HUB SLA, Salesforce, or similar).

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Sales &amp; Lead Management
Oversee all inbound and outbound sales leads through the Call Centre and CMS lead management system.
Ensure leads are qualified, nurtured, and converted according to defined sales KPIs.
Implement and optimise lead distribution to dealerships and sales teams.
Collaborate with dealership F&amp;I Managers to ensure smooth transition from lead qualification to deal structuring.
2. Call Centre Operations
Manage the daily operations of the Virtual Call Centre, including sales agents and lead specialists.
Monitor performance metrics: lead response time, contact rate, appointment setting, and conversion ratios.
Establish call scripts, objection-handling techniques, and customer engagement frameworks.
Implement quality control measures (e.g., call listening, coaching sessions).
3. Dealership &amp; F&amp;I Liaison
Serve as the primary point of contact between digital sales agents and dealership sales managers.
Secure accurate, approved quotes and confirm stock availability once customers commit to a vehicle.
Manage workflow between customers, agents, dealerships, and F&amp;I Specialists to ensure smooth finalisation.
Identify and resolve communication or process bottlenecks between call centre and physical dealerships.
4. Sales Strategy &amp; Growth
Develop and execute sales strategies to maximise lead-to-sale conversion.
Align call centre objectives with group sales targets and dealer performance goals.
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across multiple brands and models.
5. Team Leadership &amp; Training
Lead, coach, and motivate a team of call centre agents to deliver results.
Provide ongoing training on automotive product knowledge, F&amp;I basics, and customer engagement.
Foster a high-performance culture with a strong focus on accountability and continuous improvement.
6. Reporting &amp; Analysis
Generate and analyse daily, weekly, and monthly lead performance reports.
Provide management with insights into conversion rates, lead quality, and campaign ROI.
Recommend process and system improvements to optimise lead handling.&lt;br /&gt;

The purpose of this position is to ensure the achievement of After Sales targets and objectives aligned with business objectives and GP targets.  To ensure achievement of new business objectives, managing and expanding existing client base through personal performance and customer relationship management.
The individual in this role will be responsible for the following functions:
·        The promotion of aftermarket services and value-added products in line with company targets and objectives to increase Revenue growth and profitability.
·        Managing a positive Customer experience and satisfaction
Targeting and conversion of new Business accounts in the After Sales Department&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

·        Promotion and selling of Aftermarket services, Parts, Accessories, Rental offerings, Service Contract offerings, Tyres, Driver Training, Load Testing and inhouse engineering.     
·        Overall responsibility to achieve sales, growth and profitability targets in an assigned sales territory. 
·        Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met (training etc)
·        Visiting new customers to ensure safe operation of forklifts according to set standards and legal requirements by promoting Driver Training and load testing.
·        Inform and resolve customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses and credit terms.
·        Quote prices, credit terms and other specifications
·        Emphasise product features based on analyses of customer’s needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities.
·        Prepare sales contracts for orders obtained and submit orders for processing.
·        Assist with resolution of debtor’s disputes and assist with cash collections.
·        Overall responsibility to meet growth / market share increase objectives; responsible to analyse, prepare and successfully implement strategy to target and convert new business accounts, cold calling on potential new accounts.
·        Overall responsibility to ensure quality of customer interaction and service – ensure that customer expectations in all regards are exceeded by building and nurturing partnerships based on a thorough understanding of the clients business and unique needs and challenges (drive customer service excellence, ensure good communication with customers, develop and implement strategy to ensure proper/ scheduled cover for assigned territory, developing partnerships with and tailor made solutions for clients, evaluation of own development needs and ensuring lack of knowledge/skills are addressed).

·        Plan, prepare, submit and ensure achievement of short-term and long-term rental targets for assigned territory.
·        Preparation and presentation of reports as and when required.
