Submit team kaizen's and near misses to ensure continuous improvement of all processes.
Report any defects or irregularities to ensure that safety and quality is never compromised especially in regard to the assembling of safety critical components.
Record hourly and daily output and update on control board.
Support with printing of Kanban orders to replenish stock.                            
Support P&amp;A requirements.
Compliance to safety standards
Conduct housekeeping and safety standards walks daily.
Daily Job tasks are not limited to the above activities.

To provide ongoing support to TTAF customers by receiving, unpacking, sorting, palletizing, storage, picking, scanning and dispatch of stock within the agreed lead times.
Experiential and Educational requirements:
Matric
Numeracy and Literacy
A valid Forklift &amp; Reach Truck licence (MHE)
Quality inspection (visual)
 Safety and ISO
 SAP scanner
 Related experience
Essential duties and responsibilities
Complete the Forklift checklist daily and report any defects on the machine
Conduct daily battery maintenance
Maintain and control stock daily
Ensure accuracy of stock received, put away and always delivered
Ensure safe handling pallets &amp; modules. Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure quality and safety
Willing to work overtime and support customer demand and ensure continuous customer satisfaction
Conduct daily bin audit with strict adherence to FIFO (First in First Out)
Assist with stock take preparation and participate with regular stock counts
Conduct housekeeping daily
Participate in kaizen’s and submit near misses to ensure continuous improvement of all processes
Report any defects or irregularities to ensure that safety and quality is always upheld

To ensure stock is correctly inbounded on SAP, picked and delivered to customers accurately and on-time, and correctly recorded and reported so that it can be tracked efficiently to ensure on time, in full deliveries to customers. The role requires high levels of accuracy, urgency and planning, proactive inter-departmental communication and strict adherence to standard operating procedures and processes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
TECHNICAL PRE-REQUISITE
Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), particularly SAP or other relevant WMS
Basic systems knowledge, including MS Office
Sound administrative and reporting skills must have a Forklift and Reach Truck Operator Licence
Information and document management skills
Some knowledge of employee and industrial relations to be able to deputise for the Supervisor where needed
Vigilance and risk awareness (safety, environment and quality)
Safety, first aid and firefighting knowledge
Basic business and financial acumen

2+ years’ prior warehouse experience

Automotive / manufacturing / FMCG experience is preferred SST LEVEL

An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for experienced and suitably qualified Driver to join the Green Metals team based in Durban
Purpose of the job:
Transportation of scrap metals collected from the customer.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Experiential and Educational requirements:
Grade 12
Valid professional Drivers Permit (PDP), Code 14 drivers’ licence
Min. 2 years Code 14 driving experience,
Availability for day and night shift (rotational) will be a requirement
Knowledge on Operating of hydraulic systems is an advantage
Understanding safety, safety awareness and risk assessments 
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Responsible for all transportation functions and all associated data capturing (Inspections, load securing prior to transportation and reporting)
Daily vehicle pre-start-up inspections and reporting
Control all dispatch and receiving documentation for customers and always ensure accuracy
Ensure all company policy and instructions are adhered to and followed
Meet all timing targets and improvement targets that are agreed upon
Ensure trucks are always kept in pristine condition and report on any mechanical problems, or damages
Responsible for weekly transport report
Ensure the collection points at customers is kept clean and free from scrap on floor
Washing of vehicles weekly
Operate various vehicles (Hook lift vehicle, Skip loader vehicle, Grab truck)
