 This role requires a candidate with a strong technical foundation who can bridge the gap between engineering expertise and commercial excellence. The successful candidate must demonstrate proficiency in the following critical areas:
Mechanical and Electrical Background: A solid understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles is essential. The candidate must be able to assess machinery requirements, understand technical specifications, and evaluate equipment compatibility across various industrial applications.
Machinery Knowledge (Automotive and Non-Automotive): Comprehensive knowledge of machinery used in both automotive and non-automotive industries is critical. This includes understanding manufacturing processes, production equipment, assembly line machinery, and specialized industrial equipment across diverse sectors.
Site-Based Quoting Ability: The candidate must possess the capability to visit customer sites and accurately quote for projects based on visual assessment and technical evaluation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Achieve divisional sales targets with no loss to Gross Profit (in line with divisional targets)
Ensure projects, spares, and services are billed accurately and timeously
Create and develop new business opportunities with focus on creating annuity revenue streams
Conduct budget variance analysis and implement countermeasures
Prepare sales forecasting and analysis with appropriate countermeasures
Draw up expected sales and profit forecasts (monthly)
Develop a strong understanding of customer needs and maintain close communication to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction
Conduct regular customer visits (office and factory) to enable Genchi-Genbutsu and secure RFQs from customers
Visit customer sites to assess project requirements and provide accurate quotations based on technical evaluations
Support the implementation of action plans to resolve customer complaints or concerns
Manage complete project lifecycle including planning, contract administration, site management, and commercial closure
Perform on-site management including schedule, cost, and safety control during projects
Manage contractors (international and local sub-contractors)
Clarify and confirm specifications between suppliers and customers
Acquire RFQs and offer consultation (projects and spare parts) through daily customer liaison
Ensure quotations are submitted with acceptance received within specified deadlines for implementation
Conduct site visits to evaluate project scope and prepare accurate cost estimates
Prepare sales documentation including quotes, purchase orders, invoices, and debtor/creditor document tracking
Manage the complete end-to-end supply chain process
Coordinate logistics management (import approximately 90%, export approximately 10%)
Ensure accurate and timely coordination of shipping schedules and project schedules
Communicate scheduling information clearly and timeously
Provide foreign visitor support including scheduling, appointments, and meeting attendance
Support international contractors (at work and occasionally after work hours)
Build strategic relationships with suppliers and customers to identify and develop new business opportunities
Promote agency products including industrial robots, injection moulding equipment, Pumps and pneumatic parts
Propose process improvements for both external and internal business processes
Prepare bi-weekly reports covering sales, customer visits, troubleshooting, etc.
Submit weekly activity and progress reports to management team for knowledge sharing
Ensure operational issues are identified, tracked, and resolved timeously
Ensure Safety First (Anzen) with zero incidents
Provide on-the-job training to team members and motivate them toward better results

Summary Statement:

Service and Maintenance: ensure work in progress and service scheduling is managed in line with company policy, profitability of maintenance contracts is managed and in line with company policy, warranty claims processing is in line with set regulations and submitted for processing timeously.
Debtors: assist with collection to ensure we do not take provision and keep average debtors’ days below 40 days.
Creditors: support creditors, to ensure no suppliers account move into 60 days and we use BBBEE compliant suppliers.
·        Customer Service:
Overall responsibility to ensure quality of customer interaction and service (support and guide the division in attracting and securing new business, developing partnerships with and tailor-made solutions for clients)
·        Operations:
Responsible to ensure efficient and effective organisation of the branch’s operations to maximise profitability in a sustainable manner.

The millwright will play a crucial role in ensuring that the plant operates at maximum efficiency with minimal downtime.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Minimum Qualifications:
Qualified Millwright / Red Seal Qualification or Trade Test in all disciplines (N4 preferred qualification)
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in Automotive Manufacturing or manufacturing environment.
Working Knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical systems, electrical fault finding and pneumatics.
PLC and Robotics experience is preferred.

The purpose of this position is to provide an accurate and reliable administrative support function to the Maintenance Manager; to analyse, control and supervise all aspects of administrative policies and practices, to implement and uphold actions in line with company strategic objectives, to maximise efficiency of and ensure administrative staff in the Aftermarket Admin personnel is supervised and the department is operating according to set targets and in line with operational requirements.
Overall responsibility to ensure administrative tasks related to financial aspects of the Aftermarket department’s business operations are completed correctly and timeously:
o    Work In Progress:  monitor and manage the team efforts and process of closing jobs to ensure WIP is at all times within acceptable parameters / limits; checking with controllers why jobs older than set parameters / time frames are still open; assist with resolving issues relating to closing such jobs; reviewing, implementing and continuously developing processes related to WIP to ensure it is managed within acceptable parameters; ensures accuracy of data captured - analyse and correct accuracy of data captured on WIPs &amp; WIP invoicing
o    Debtors:  overall contact person for debtor’s department – receive, distribute to foremen / product support engineer(s) and follow up on debtors’ queries / requests for assistance, prepare and submit feedback either verbally or written to debtor’s department and Aftermarket Managers.
o    Creditors:  overall responsibility to assist Aftermarket Managers to ensure Aftermarket department creditors are managed in line with company policy and requirements: check the reconciliations for outstanding invoices – follow up on those and ensure the outstanding invoices are received, processed and prepared for payment; clear the purchase awaiting invoices report.
o    Labour Recovery:  monitor labour sales per technician, ensure that labour recovery data is captured and inputted daily by the controllers to ensure accurate information is available at all times.
o    Analyse and identify loss-making Aftermarket contracts; escalate these for attention of the Aftermarket manager to       analyse and identify machines working overtime without the hours being invoiced; escalate these for attention of the Aftermarket managers
o    Analysing and correcting accuracy of data captured on WIPs &amp; WIP invoicing
o    Ensure the warranty claims process is done accurately and submitted timeously, ensure recovery of warranty claims are tracked and managed – drive the product support engineers regarding this matter
Overall responsibility to ensure all administrative functions are in place and being followed / implemented effectively and in line with company and system requirements;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
ensure administrative tasks performed by self and admin team are completed accurately and timeously
• Overall responsibility to accurately and timeously prepare and distribute scheduled (monthly, weekly and daily) and ad-hoc reports as might be requested by department managers and / or head office, e.g.: preparation of weekly department KPA report, service schedule reports, marketing campaign reports, preparation of data for reports to be submitted to Japan, etc.
• Responsible to create / write ad-hoc reports as and when required – responsible to liaise with IT department for assistance.
• Coordinate product field campaigns as and when required – prepare data on machines to touch, arrange and distribute data to Team Leader for action, collate feedback and submit report to Aftermarket Managers / Head Office.
• Advising CSI department on a monthly basis of customer contact schedule for CSI follow-up
• Facilitating customer complaints and queries; foster and maintain dedication to service excellence in every aspect of work carried out; ensure timeous feedback / communication to customers
• Ensure that Aftermarket department admin personnel functions as an efficient resource for the company by continuously evaluating and monitoring quality and accuracy of work, implementing and driving Investors in People in line with company strategic objectives, ensure effective inter-departmental and internal communication 
• Understanding and working knowledge of Kerridge system; ability to write reports; skill and ability to identify and correct errors on WIPs 
• Dedication to service excellence in every aspect of work carried out; strong focus on internal and external customer service
• Strong analytical ability; ability and suitable experience in compiling reports utilising and analysing various data sources and to present it in a user-friendly format
• Strong financial / numerical ability
• Advanced / Expert Computer literacy in MS Outlook, Word and Excel
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including very strong verbal and grammatically correct written English communication skills
• Must be proactive; ability to prioritize and successfully complete multiple tasks timeously; ability to see a project through from start to finish
• Strong administrative ability; very organized and structured approach to completion of tasks; highly developed prioritising and multi-tasking skills; systematic and structured approach to problem solving and decision-making; strong sense of urgency; must be able to function effectively under pressure; ability to use initiative and assume responsibility
• Impeccable, friendly and professional telephone manner and in general when dealing with customers both internally and externally
• Ability to function effectively in a group and add value to the team / environment
