Qualifications and Experience
1. Matric
2. Sales qualification (advantageous)
3. 3+ years of sales or field experience in aftermarket/OEM parts
4. Basic knowledge of automotive parts (batteries, shocks, filters, etc.)
5. Relationships/Connections with wholesalers, retailers, and workshops
Key Competencies
1. Excel/PPT-based analytical skills (price comparisons, GP calculations, SKU analysis)
2. Agility to conduct on-site visits (Gembality)
3. Ability to communicate in a multicultural environment with TTC, TTIPL (Toyota Tsusho India)
Duties and Responsibilities
Market Research
1. Work closely with each channel (wholesalers, retailers, garages and fleet customers), and TSAM dealers to study their SWOT.
2. Work closely with each channel (wholesalers, retailers, garages and fleet customers), and TSAM dealers to analyze market demands and opportunities, position the target market and customers, recommend actions and set up marketing plans for IAM parts (CWORKS and T-Select).
3. Gather and share market insights and intelligence through direct customer interaction for IAM parts (CWORKS and T-Select)
Marketing
5. Coordinate establishment of each channel (wholesalers, retailers, garages and fleet customers), and TSAM dealers activities and performance objectives for IAM parts (CWORKS and T-Select).
6. Monitor parts inventory of each channel (wholesalers, retailers, garages and fleet customers), and TSAM dealers and anticipate needs, in light of sales promotions, new products, trends, and suggested stock orders.
7. Develop and implement the IAM parts (CWORKS and T-Select) marketing plan in conjunction with Marketing department of TSAM.
Pricing
8. Gather and organize market price information, analyze and create summaries of competitive pricing.
9. Support for making/implementing appropriate IAM parts (CWORKS and T-Select) price policies/strategies for each channel (wholesalers, retailers, garages and fleet customers), and TSAM dealers.
General
10. Customer visit report creation/reporting (for each visit)
11. Monthly report creation/reporting
12. Serve as the first point of contact for CWORKS quality complaints
13. Supply Chain & Inventory Management
14. Coordinating delivery dates, inventory, and orders with local partners and TTC/TTIPL (Toyota Tsusho India) Procurement Team
15. Upon requests, to deal with some ad hoc work such as visitor pick-up at ORT airport and attendance at dinner with visitors etc.
