We looking for a MICROSOFT SERVER ADMINISTRATOR M/F  based : South Africa

 

Job Description :

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12/ equivalent.
  • Good verbal and written communication and literacy skills in English and Afrikaans.
  • Clean criminal record.
  • Ability to carry out verbal and written instructions.
  • A valid, unendorsed driver's license with the appropriate vehicle codes. 
  • Proven experience working as a Microsoft Server Administrator or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • At least five years experience in a similar position.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP.

 

 

Profil Request :

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Windows Server Infrastructure

  • Implement and support Windows server infrastructure components, including Active Directory, DNS, Certificate Services and AD FS (Active Directory Federation Services).
  • Install and configure Windows servers.
  • Troubleshoot Windows Servers issues.
  • Server Hardware and infrastructure maintenance

 

Security and Compliance:

  • Adhere to a planned program for virus updates, patch management, and service packs.
  • Maintain established company security standards.
  • Adhere to Company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the highest standards of security ethics and compliance.

Virtualization and Hardware:

  • Support the Windows Server and Virtualization Infrastructure.

Windows Server Patch management:

  • Administrate Microsoft and 3rd party patch deployment process.

Server backup and Disaster recovery:

  • Administrate and Support Server backup processes.

  • Maintain Disaster recovery planning and processes.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Effectively communicate with team members and reporting to management.
  • Any ad hoc admin/ other responsibilities as and when required.
