We looking for a Paint Technician   based : Kenya

 

 

Job description:

 

The Paint Technician reports to Bodyshop Supervisor - Paint and based at Bodyshop - Lusaka Road. The ideal candidate will be responsible for provision of paint application to the repaired/replaced panels to ensure correct colour matching and quality which meets customer expectations.

 

Main Duties & Responsibilities

a)       Confirmation of completeness of the repair order received from the workshop supervisor.

b)      Inspection of the jobs from panel beating section for quality before start of painting process.

c)       Making requisition of materials and consumables as necessary through the immediate supervisor to ensure enough stock for seamless operation.

d)      Paint mixing, panel preparation, paint application and buffing/polishing on repaired/new vehicle to the required quality standard.

e)       Help in maintaining health and safety standards of the organization.

      Maintaining tools, equipment and facilities of the organization as per the company standards and policy.

g)  Participating in any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

 

 

 

Profil request:

 

Knowledge/Skills & Experience

a) Diploma/Certificate in Automotive engineering or other related field.

b) Paint Technician step 1

c)  Valid driving licence

d) 3 years working experience as a Painter
