We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Receptionist to join CFAO Holdings South Africa. This is a locally based permanent contract in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Experiential and Educational Requirements
Matric Certificate
Tertiary Qualification is advantageous
2-3 years receptionist experience.
Organisational skills: Ability to maintain records, inventory, and organize supplies.
Strong Communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors/suppliers, and guests.
Effective time management: Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
Proactive and detail-orientated approach
Excellent customer service skills
MS Office and general computer skills
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Switch Board
Manage Calls
Front Desk
Deliveries
Inform staff members of delivery
Receive parcel & sign on behalf of staff member if not available/permission given
Arrange for person to collect parcel/delivery
Housekeeping
Ensure the reception area is clean, neat & tidy
Welcome Sign
Add names of Visitors/VIP’s or new staff joining
Catering & Refreshment support
Events Support
Office Events – (Birthdays, Farewell, Baby Shower, Sports Days, and so on)
Flowers & Gifts support
Staff Welfare
Order and pay online for the flowers/baskets through Netflorist
Refreshments Inventory
Take stock of all refreshments we have in the storeroom
Order stock that is needed
Business Cards
Place orders for business cards and arrange delivery
New Starter support
Arrange as per Master data request for new starter pack
Stationery
Desk with Accessories (In tray, stationery holder, cup holder & dustbin)
Chair
Pedestal
Desk phone (arranged by IT)
Stationery Inventory
Stock take monthly
Order stationery
Month End Journals for cost allocation
Maintenance and repair support
Office
Equipment
Furniture
Metrofile support
Arrange collection and delivery
Health and Safety support
Support with Health and Safety administration
Adhoc Facilities support
Any other duties as directed by the Facilities Manager
