Job description:
CFAO Equipment SA is seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Manager to provide Operational and Business Support, to join our Finance team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, adherence to Company policies and procedures, and strategic business support across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Month-End Reporting:
o Review trial balances and journals for month-end flash adjustments.
o Prepare and review month end calculations and taxation calculations.
o Finalize management accounts and Exco reports with performance analysis.
o Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure best practices.
o Ensure compliance with company SOPs and deadlines.
2. Payment Review and Approval:
o Daily review and release of third-party payments in the bank.
o Assist with cash forecasts and bank transfers (ad hoc).
3. Business Support:
o Provide financial analysis and reporting support to branches.
o Assist with credit vetting and ensure SOP consistency.
4. Budget Preparation:
o Prepare and consolidate annual budgets and forecasts.
o Support budget submissions and presentations.
5. Audit Assistance:
o Liaise with internal and external auditors.
o Drive audit readiness and minimize findings.
6. Team Leadership and Development:
o Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance team, ensuring high performance and career growth.
o Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve team effectiveness.
o Foster a collaborative working environment to enhance productivity and morale.
7. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
o Prepare performance reports, variance analysis, and financial risk assessments.
o Present financial insights to senior management to aid decision-making.
