CFAO Holdings South Africa is offering a 12-month contract to an enthusiastic go getter who wants to expand their knowledge, skill and practical experience in the Learning and Development space. The position is based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Required profile :
Minimum Requirements
- Business Administration diploma / Higher Certificate in Business Administration at NQF Level 5
- Valid driver’s license to be able to drive to different sites
- A substantial knowledge of statutory requirements and submissions to MerSETA (including drafting, compiling, and submitting the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR).
- A moderate understanding of South African skills development legislation, including the Skills Development Act, Skills Development Levies Act and the role of the Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs)
- Working knowledge and understanding of grant application requirements and processes.
- Sound knowledge of the full MS Office suite with Intermediate Excel (Level 2) and PowerPoint.
Duties and Responsibilities
L & D administration
Reporting of training, training needs analyses and co-ordination of all relevant information feeding into the WSP and ATR
Schedule all training for CFAO CAMPUS SA including soft skills (if held on-site).
Source and vet potential new training providers and their products to assist with training needs.
Open new vendors.
Administer all payments to relevant vendors, ensuring they get approval and that costs are allocated correctly in terms of GL, company code and cost centre.
Conduct comprehensive recordkeeping of all L & D activities.
E-learning
Maintain accurate records
Liaise with Payroll to obtain a list of new recruits to ensure they have received an email from EdApp.
Constant communication with EdApp Support to ensure new courses are available to the group every quarter
Co-ordination Educational Assistance and the Educational Trust
Educational assistance
Record agreements
Monitor and administer the stipulations of these agreements, including tracking obligation periods.
Recording of information including statements of results and signed contracts.

Co-ordination and maintenance of applications
Operational efficiencies and continuous improvement
Continually identify and implement efficiencies through automation and ongoing process improvements.
