Job description:
The National Financial Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the national function of creditors accounts, ensuring accurate reconciliation, timely payments, and effective dispute resolution. This role includes managing financial administrators, overseeing journal capturing, and ensuring compliance with company policies and financial protocols. The incumbent will also assist with customer account management, financial reporting, and audit processes.
Profil request:
1. Creditors & Payments Management:
Oversee creditor reconciliations between the financial system and supplier statements.
Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of supplier payments.
Manage and resolve disputes with suppliers in coordination with relevant departments.
2. Customer Account Management:
Assist with opening new customer accounts, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Support credit limit adjustments and approvals in line with financial risk assessments.
3. Financial Administration Oversight:
Supervise financial administrators responsible for journal capturing for branches.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of journal entries before approval.
Monitor adherence to financial policies and protocols across branches.
4. Compliance & Audit Support:
Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
Assist in both internal and external audit processes, providing necessary documentation and reports.
5. Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management review.
Provide insights and analysis on financial trends and operational efficiencies.
Support ad hoc financial projects as required.
