Job Purpose
Tto increase the sales of MB buses in the market through customer visits, cold calls, proper reporting and having close collaboration with the dealer and financial institutions
· Operational Responsibilities;
1. Sale of new units Mercedes Benz Bus or any other brands the company may introduce
2. Efficient use of SSI, AKIDA, product knowledge, e-learning and CAP
3. Procure LPO or payments of new sales deals
4. Attend to showroom traffic
5. Attend to company events as and when required within and outside Nairobi
6. Achieve monthly sales target
7. Prepare and present quotations to prospective customers, keeping within authorised discounts
8. Delivery of new vehicles to customers
9. Collect market information on market trends and shift to assist in accurate ordering of new models and update our database
10. Submit activity report to the head of sales on daily basis
11. Conduct daily field visits to prospect for clients in order to generate sales and gather market information to assist in planning and decision making
12. Actively follow-up on new leads and referrals resulting from showroom, field activities and promotions to build prospects and close sales
13. Prepare quotations in a timely manner in line with CFAO guidelines to assist close sales in a timely manner
14. Create sales orders to facilitate timely invoicing
15. Prepare sales calls programs for appointment bookings with prospective clients to facilitate sales plans
16. Maintain regular contact with clients to promote retention and generate referrals and new business opportunities
17. Consistently update customers on sales order progress, respond and resolve customer queries in a timely manner to ensue customer satisfaction and retention
18 Advise clients on finance packages available and agreed upon in the MOU’s and assist the clients in filling the required documentation to ensure the sales deals are closed
19. Liaise with finance department to ensure payment terms are clearly agreed and communicated to the customer
20. Follow-up on vehicle registration documents including logbooks to ensure the documentation is availed to the customer in a timely manner to enhance customer satisfaction and retention
21. Actively participate in promotional and customer training activities to market the company products and services
22. Provide information to management and the marketing team on market intelligence to assist to gather information required to develop aggressive marketing and sales strategies for the CFAO brands
23 Submit accurate daily/ weekly deliveries and order intake data to the Head of Sales to keep track of the monthly sales targets as per the budget
24 Support in the unit ordering process to ensure optimal stock holding at all times
25. Liaise with pre-owned vehicles section on evaluation and validation of customer vehicles trade-ins requests
26. Assist customers in filing government tax documentation eg Advance tax, transfer form
