· Analyse client's technical requirements and prepare comprehensive quotations.
· Compiling Quotations and submitting to the customer within 24 hours
· Daily, weekly & monthly follow up on submitted quotes to increase quotes conversion.
· Communicate and negotiate with suppliers for best purchasing pricing.
· Liaise with Finance, and Operations teams to validate and finalize quotes.
· Resolve customer inquiries related to quotations in a professional and timely manner.
· Pre-delivery & post collection inspections using the ATG system and emailing to customer within 12 working hours.
· Work hand-in hand with Stock Controller. Also assist in Stock Controllers absentia.
· Occasionally assist with off-site inspections and or excess hours.
· Providing scheduled (monthly, weekly, and daily – WIP) and ad-hoc reports as might be requested by department / manager or supervisor and / or product support / foreman.
· Compile weekly Quote report – open WIPS.
· Visit customers to acquire purchase orders.
· Support the team to achieve predetermined targets.
· Follow-up on successful execution of purchase orders to complete repairs.
· General administrative duties.
· Foster and maintain dedication to service excellence in every aspect of work carried out; ensure timeous feedback / communication to customers, internal & external.
Processing of invoices, creating order numbers, updating of records on Kerridge system (ensuring that jobs are opened and closed as per company standards, accurate and timeous processing of invoices, generating order numbers for both internal and external customers, accurate and timeous processing of technician / mechanic.
