The purpose of this position is to ensure achievement of new business objectives, sales targets and revenue growth generated through personal performance and the performance of the Parts team, best management practices are followed in all areas of responsibility regarding Parts sales procedures and actions, promoting a customer oriented service, to implement and uphold actions in line with company strategic vision, to maximize efficiency of the department and to operate the department profitably according to set targets.
To perform this job successfully, the appointed individual must be able to perform each essential duty / key performance area satisfactorily. This list of key performance areas is not exhaustive and may be changed / supplemented to accommodate business needs from time to time. This position would also, apart from key performance areas stipulated below, be required to assist the supervisor / manager with other duties from time to time, as may be deemed necessary:
· Overall responsibility to ensure administrative tasks related to financial aspects of the Rental business operations are completed correctly and timeously: verification and processing of rental fleet buy-backs, rental fleet clearing account reconciliation, compile invoice schedules for rental fleet owners, prepare rental fleet cost / rate calculations and quotations; offer to purchase, early termination penalties, processing of sales and purchases of units.
· Overall responsibility to ensure administrative tasks related to rental contracts are completed correctly and timeously: verification of rental fleet contracts, preparing rental agreements, maintain contracts and hypothec filing, continuously managed and implement necessary actions related to contract escalations and end-of-term reports received from Head Office, Prepare fleet analysis reports for rental customers.
· Facilitating customer complaints and queries; ensure it is followed through and communicate process / result to customers; foster and maintain dedication to service excellence in every aspect of work carried out; ensure timeous feedback / communication to customers.
· General administrative duties and assistance to Admin Supervisor (following up with customers for order numbers, typing of quotations, emailing, filing, reports, etc.)
· Overall responsibility to prepare and distribute scheduled (monthly, weekly, and daily) and ad-hoc reports as might be requested by department manager and / or head office, e.g.: preparation of weekly department KPA report, workshop status and load testing reports, marketing campaign reports, preparation of data for reports to be submitted to Japan, etc. accurately and timeously.
· Ensuring that STR achieves the predetermined targets / budget.
· Overall responsibility to ensure quality of customer interaction and service (drive customer service excellence, ensure good communication with customers, developing and fostering partnerships with and tailormade solutions for clients; evaluation of own development needs and ensuring lack of knowledge / skills are addressed
· Telesales and maintenance of records/ quotes register / advertising
· Invoicing and costing daily.
· Full responsibility to ensure all documentation for the delivery of a forklift is accurate, complete, and properly authorized (e.g., credit applications, signed contracts from clients, customer orders, site inspections, gate pass, etc.)
