Mission description
The purpose of this position is to ensure that best management practices are followed in all areas of responsibility regarding the Workshop departments and all products that fall within the 600SA product offering, operations procedures and actions. Promoting a customer service orientated business internal and external, to implement and uphold actions in line with company strategic vision and to operate the Maintenance and Workshop departments profitably according to set targets.

· Education / Training:
o Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Business Management or equivalent technical qualification
· Experience:
o Proven and relevant experience and success in a management / team leader position in the Compactor & Crane material handling or related industry; with at least 3 to 5 years’ experience in similar position
o Fair knowledge of parts for Compactors and Crane, including OEM engagement of ordering and receipting of parts both from local and oversea suppliers.
· Knowledge Requirements:
o Customer and Personal Service: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, quality standards for service, and evaluation CSI.
o Administration and Management: Knowledge of basic business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
o English Language: Effective Communication both verbal and written.
o Clerical: Knowledge of the company’s administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
o Personnel and Human Resources: Basic knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, training, labour relations and negotiation.
· Required Skills:
o Time Management: managing one's own time and the time of others.
o Coaching and Development: Teaching others how to do something.
o Management of Personnel Resources: Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job.
