We looking for a Distributor Warranty Administrator M/F  based : Uganda

 

Job description:

Job purpose

Support effective distributor & dealer service operations through administering and processing warranty claims, as per manufacturer warranty policies and procedures.

Profil request:

Key responsibilities

 • Warranty & SSCs (Special Service Campaigns) administration as per warranty policies & procedures i.e. authorization, tracking and closing repair orders, analyze returned/denied claims etc.
• Process & submit Toyota & Suzuki warranty claims within the 'timeframe' to Manufacturer on the related warranty systems (OASIS & SCAN).
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate warranty documents' records as per requirements.
• Coordinate with Finance Credit Department to ensure all warranty claims are settled.
• Order & manage warranty materials' stock – Booklets, Parts Tags, Flat Rate Manuals.
• Coordinate all parts and fuel recovery requests & ship requested parts/fuel back to the manufacturer.
• Prepare periodic service menu, service plan and maintenance plan pricing and submit for approvals.
• Ensure and maintain an up-to-date Service Plan Database.
• Prepare and update internal service pricing i.e. Pre-Delivery Inspection, Free Service etc.
• Prepare & submit reports to Management.

 

Educational qualifications
Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering.

 

Specific experience, knowledge & skills required
• At least 2 years' experience in the automotive industry, preferably in a workshop setting. 
• Automotive product knowledge especially the Toyota and Suzuki vehicle brands.
• Knowledge of manufacturer warranty policies and procedures. 
• Tech savvy with proficient computer skills, especially MS Excel and Word.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Teamwork.
