The purpose of this position is to perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness, hygiene and orderliness of the building maintaining a positive work environment for employees and a support a corporate perception by external visitors.

(Essential Duties & Responsibilities)

To perform this job successfully, the appointed individual must be able to perform each essential duty / key performance area satisfactorily. This list of key performance areas is not exhaustive and may be changed / supplemented to accommodate business needs from time to time Service, Clean, and supply the surfaces and contents of the building including, but not limited to:

1. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in a safe manner, taking care not to damage floors and fixtures.

2. Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications

3. Clean all workshops and yard.

4. Clean site and surrounding areas

5. Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.

6. Requisition supplies and equipment needed for: cleaning and maintenance duties.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills Education / Training and Experience Requirement(s):

· A minimum of Grade 12 education

· Able to communicate in, as well as read English

· Able to work overtime and on weekends

· Able to get to work and home by own means

. Possess Good physical dexterity

Preferred Knowledge, Skills Education / Training and Experience Requirement(s):

· Forklift Operator licence

. Code 8 / EB driver’s licence
