Job Description :

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
  • Computer literate (Office suite – Intermediate Level)

 

Advantageous Requirements:

  •  Driver’s licence
  • Autoline / ADP experience
  • Parts experience in Motor Dealership Industry
  • Basic BMW SA product knowledge

Profil Request :

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contact possible new/existing customers regularly (i.e., email, phone etc.)
  • Actively market/advertise products and brand to existing/non-existing
  • BMW Group customers; creating continuous brand/product awareness
  • Receive, welcome and attend to all walk-in customers
  • Assist internal (i.e. workshop/sales) customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Attend to general telephonic enquiries
  • Establish customer needs by asking open questions, actively listening and taking notes
  • Ensure parts display area is clean and tidy
  • Ensure parts display area stock is current
  • Ensure correct pricing is indicated
  • Ensure any stock discrepancies are reported to management and last sold items are reported as such
  • Identify parts not utilised and not put into stock (non-stocking items
  • Check parts received are correct as per client requirement
  • Ensure effective product knowledge (parts) understanding
  • Explain technical details in a simple and understanding manner and highlight benefits to add value (i.e. EPC – electronic parts catalogue)
  • Present the product on the customers’ needs and desires
  • Supply trade customers with accurate and timeous quotations
  • Verify where part can be sourced from (i.e. other dealer, DMDC)
  • Place on order with supplier
  • Confirm accuracy of ETA (estimated time of arrival)
  • Continuously follow up on ETA and keep client updated
  • Ensure correct order form is generated with accurate information and all relevant supporting documents
  • Ensure dispatch supervisor is briefed on receiving/dispatch priorities
  • Locate specified order within desired timeframe (customer needs)
  • Ensure parts are correct (i.e. correct part, quantity, good condition)
  • Ensure timeous delivery of order
  • Ensure correct text invoice on ordered part (cash sales)
  • If external order, ensure parts requisition slip signed together with job card by supplier and receiver (cash sales)
  • Issue documentation with ordered part (cash sales)
  • Issue part, once proof of payment has been received (cash sales)
  • Confirm receipt of order slip (non – cash sales)
  • Verify order with order no. (non – cash sales)
  • Create invoice with order no. (non - cash sales)
  • Supply part with invoice (none – cash sales)
  • Ensure adherence to specified discount structures.
  • Identify and inform client of reason for any under / over payment.
