Job description:

To support Steering rack Assembly production team, with effective and efficient, Employee, Safety, Quality, Production and Stock control.

Experiential and Educational requirements:

·       Matric.                                                       

·       Safety and ISO and understanding safety critical components.                                         

·       Quality inspection.

·       Numeracy and literacy.       

·       Forklift Licence (Advantage).                                   

·       Basic computer skills (Advantage).   

·       2-3 Years’ experience in operations (TTAF operations or external             experience).

Profil request:

Essential duties and responsibilities:

·       Provide support to all production team members with daily functions (as well as absence cover)

·       Maintain and control stock daily [Minimum, Maximax, Kanban requirements, Reject, P&A]

·       Ensure accuracy of stock received and delivered at all times.

·       Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOP’s) to ensure quality.

·       Strong safety mindset for the employees and handling safety critical components.

·       Assemble components in line with customer demand.

·       Must be willing to work shifts and overtime from time to time to support customer and operational requirements

·       Ensure housekeeping is done daily (5S) by all team members

·       Reporting to management – ensure a continuous flow of information to support the operation.

·       Submit kaizen’s and near misses to ensure continuous improvement of processes and procedures

·       Report any defects or irregularities to ensure safety and quality is always upheld.
