Job description:

JOB PURPOSE

This role is responsible for the development and implementation of Equipment Strategy that ensures efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of aftersales services to customers through effective & efficient aftersales services management, developing, implementing and monitoring technical processes and systems that promote business and enhance aftersales profitability of all brands within the CMK Network.

Main Responsibilities of the Job

Managerial/Supervisory

·Prepare national annual aftersales budgets and forecasts accurately, monitor and follow up on any variances, ensure that the aftersales service menus are competitively priced in a way that promotes business profitability.

·Regularly monitor and review of aftersales processes to promote efficiency and increase customer satisfaction.

·Responsible for planning and ensuring availability of sufficient manpower capacity to handle all the key areas within the service job flow process for optimal productivity.

·Responsible for skills gaps analysis and provision of relevant technical skills training to meet growing business manpower needs.

·Oversee and approve all departmental process and functions and ensures adherence to CFAO guidelines

·Develop and facilitate the implementation of effective multi-brand strategies that promote customer acquisition and retention in aftersales.

·Coordinate and support research and testing procedures on new products for feedback to OEM’s for improvement

·Responsible for coordination of overall special campaigns /recalls

·Develop and implement multi-brand aftersales strategies for network (Branches, Dealers & TKASC) aligned to CMK mid- term plan (MTP)

·Develop and implement strategies to grow service and parts revenues to achieve set targets by CMK Branches, Dealers and TKASC

·Develop and implement strategies to grow body shop revenues and achieve targets

·Monitor and track service and parts performance within the CMK network (Branches, body shop, Dealers & TKASC) and institute measures to ensure set KPI are achieved

·Ensure aftersales staff within CMK network are equipped with requisite competencies to deliver efficient aftersales services to the customers.
·Coordinate the development and implementation of parts requisition and delivery process   and ensure timely turnaround of parts required at all CMK service outlets
·Ensure the application and adherence to CKM brands OEM’s warranty policy

 

Profil request:

Operational Responsibilities

 a) Establish and monitor key aftersales KPI’s through collaboration with Network Managers to ensure achievement of set aftersales multi brand targets and efficient utilization of resources.

b) Continuously review required technical skills and competencies within CMK Network and take appropriate action to address any gaps and ensure quality aftersales customer services

c)  Oversee and spearhead technical skills trainings

d)  Monitor and track weekly and monthly aftersales performance against budget within CMK network (Branches, body shop, Dealers & TKASC)

e)  Monitor and ensure on time availability of spare parts within the Network outlets and adherence to stock holding and aging policies

f)  Spearhead the identification, evaluation and set up of new CMK Dealerships and TKASC’s in line with Network Expansion strategy

g) Ensure timely conduct of regular evaluations of TSM-FIR standards and compliance within the Network (Branches, Dealers & TKASC)

h) Coordinate the preparation and availability of key weekly and monthly aftersales KPI reports

i)  Coordinate the periodic preparation and monitoring of regional Pan African award reports

j)  Participate in periodic OEM’s regional meetings and share learnings with all stakeholders within CMK network

k)  Coordinate the preparation and holding of annual Dealer & TKASC conference

Minimum level of academic and professional qualification required to perform effectively in the role

a)     Degree in mechanical engineering-Automotive

b)     Post graduate diploma in Management related field

Minimum level of experience required to perform effectively in the role

10 years of relevant working experience in the automotive industry, with 5 years of experience in a management position in a company of comparable size
