We looking for a Technician - Nyeri Branch  based : Kenya

 

Job Description :

 

The role is responsible for the provision of service to customer vehicles in line with the 'fix it right the first time' standard, in order to support high customer satisfaction as well as to attain revenue and throughput targets for the branch.

The ideal candidate will report to the Workshop Manager.

Operational Responsibilities

a)       Carry out repairs as well as scheduled vehicle maintenance as per the CFAO Mobility Kenya quality standards for high customer satisfaction and retention rates.

b)      Support less experienced technicians with the diagnosis of complex repairs/service to ensure customers are provided with high quality service, and to pass on experience and knowledge to the less experienced team;

c)       Support the reception team with on-site advice to customers on issues of concern to ensure customers are assured of quality service within agreeable timelines.

d)      Advice customers through service advisors on the reparability of their vehicles, as well as time required without compromising on the company policy, to ensure minimal complaints from customers;

e)       Respond to and handle customers' complaints promptly to avert misunderstandings and the risk of losing customers.

f)        Clean the work area (bay) in compliance with Toyota 4S standards, to ensure the work station is always safe, clean, and tidy.

g)       Prepare timely, clear and precise defect reports in order to upsell and consequently generate more revenue for the branch.

h)      Prepare reports in line with the department guidelines to ensure management is informed about performance in a timely manner.

 Minimum level of academic and professional qualification required to perform effectively in the role

a)      Diploma in automotive engineering

b)       Certified Technician (Diagnostic Master Technician)

 

Minimum level of experience required to perform effectively in the role

2 years working experience as a diagnostic technician
