Job description:

Purpose of the job:

To supervising PSC Operation, ensuring the accurate and efficient receiving, storage, and dispatch of automotive parts and components. You will lead a team, optimize inventory, and maintain strict health and safety standards, good customer relations and ensure a safe working environment.

 

Minimum Requirement:

  • Relevant Diploma or Degree (in Logistics / Supply / Chain / Operations)
  • 3 to 5 Years relevant warehouse / logistics experience
  • Relevant Supervisory experience with exposure to team leadership
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety/ ISO System
  • Valid Driver’s Licence
  • Computer Literacy (MS office)
  • SAP knowledge and ability to use the system
  • Quality management
  • Stock Management and control
  • Forklift licence (an advantage)
  • People Management Skills
  • Legal and regulatory requirements (OHSA, ISO 14001 / 45001)

 

Required profile :

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Conduct morning meetings, allocate the team and report daily
  • Manage daily operations and functions of the PSC team
  • Coordinate, plan and organize the workload with all Team Members to achieve daily targets
  • Maintain stock holding accuracy, including FIFO control
  • Manage accuracy of stock received, stored, and delivered to customers.
  • Effective and timeous communication on all PSC related matters
  • Manage overtime to meet TTAF / customer requirements (preauthorization / cost control)
  • Manage non-conformance, complete countermeasure / corrective action
  • Manage standard operating procedure (SOP), adherence and review quarterly
  • Manage stock take preparation / participation –accountability for losses
  • Ensure housekeeping is done daily by all PSC team
  • Manage kaizens and near misses’ submissions, to ensure continuous improvement
  • Report any irregularities to ensure safety and quality
  • SAP process Management
  • Target driven to ensure interim bins are cleared at the end of each shift
  • Effective utilization of space, material handling equipment and manpower 
  • Submit Management report and/ supporting documents.
